Charles Harrison Cricket coach

Morning Irfan, coaches and players.

Well, it has been a week since I have left you all in India and what a stamp you have all made on me and in my heart. I talk fondly and proudly of you all to my family, friends and colleagues here in the UK but remain extremely humble and grateful and privileged to have met you all and to which I can honestly say I call you all my friends.

I would like to thank you all for accepting and welcoming me into your Academy and for trying things in a different way to how you would normally do things and I hope you have learnt something from me as I have learnt many a thing from every one of you and you have all had a major part in how I look to coach and apply my skills to others in the future.

You were all extremely humble, grateful, appreciative, respectful and all had a desire to get better in your own development and I thank you for allowing me to play a very small part in this in you.

I believe in every one of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me this truly remarkable experience of trying out your culture, your passion, your love that you all have for this wonderful game we call cricket which unites everyone around the world into one big family. You truly are unique in these values above.

Keep working hard, applying yourselves and practising with a purpose, cementing your skills to perfection. You are in the right place there at KIOC and you are surrounded by so many coaches and Sir Irfan who cares about every one of you and about your whole development as a person. It has been incredible to see how far you have all come in a short time I was in India with you all, with the passion and direction that Sir did in the classrooms sessions to how you all bonded with your coaches outside applying your new skills. You truly are blessed to have a cricket sanctuary where you are with such a high-quality environment which promotes your learning and development in a relaxed and stress-free environment. Remember failure is a good thing if we learn from it and take the lessons learned to where we need to improve and develop our skills.

I leave you with this quote “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it. Make your own destiny.”

I would like to thank you all once again from the bottom of my heart and I pray that the lord blesses everyone one you and your family abundantly.

Till we meet again go well and be a blessing unto
Others

Lots of Love and God bless

Charles Harrison
